My photography journey begins July of 2023 at a baseball tournament in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I was there watching Jack play and enjoying the weekend out of town with my friends and family. A mom of one of the players had a camera and a newborn which as you can imagine was a tough combination to juggle. She was kind enough to teach me to use her camera and I haven't put one down since. I came home ready to find equipment and something to shoot. My dad, Timothy, borrowed me his camera and several lenses that he had from working in the realty space.
Since then I have grown exponentially in my photography skills through thousands of hours of practice, and getting 11th Ave Media started. Through these experiences I have refined my skills in photography and editing to bring you my work today with upgraded equipment. I strive to live in the moment and embrace life as it comes, this is what I capture with my photos. Photos of you, as you are now, to look back on, to enjoy these moments.
I graduated from St. Cloud State University in May of 2026 with my Associates Degree through the PSEO program which I completed through my Junior and Senior years of high school. This fall I marry my high school sweetheart, Jack who I have been with since I was thirteen. Next winter I am headed to Concordia, St. Paul to pursue my Bachelors in the Science of Nursing through their accelerated program. Go Golden Bears!
I love to be outside, especially at the lake or on the farm. I love to be active and spend time having new experiences. Attraction parks, aquariums, zoos, fairs, and walks are my jam. I also love traveling. Some of my favorite spots have been Big Sky and Glacier National Park in Montana, Banff National Park in Canada, Red Woods National Forest in California and Bar Harbor in Maine. San Francisco has the best clam chowder and sour dough but when I am home my favorite food is tacos. Coffee, fun sparkling drinks, and water are always in my hand. Sunglasses too, of course. That's a little bit about me, I'm excited to know you!
