Lilli - Creative SessionI have known Lilli for years, she has been a great friend to me. We met on the high school dance team and have continued to grow together since. We spend most of our time together talking about the same things, eating lots of food, and making shopping trips. I have been lucky enough to take photos of Lilli twice now. Both were creative shoots at Snake River Farm in Becker, MN. Our first shoot was last fall and had a country theme. It was chilly and dark which the photos reflect. Our second was at the beginning of this summer. A girly, nature filled shoot primarily done in the woods gave a unique look. Lilli is incredibly photogenic and a complete natural in front of the camera. Our photoshoots are filled with laughter, and funny poses between all the serious ones. During our second photoshoot we wandered into the deep weeds and as I was inching to the right with my eyes in the viewfinder I hear SHWUSH come out of the weeds. I jumped back to see a mama turkey running away from her nest as quick as she could. We had to idea she was there. She wandered back over as we were headed out of the woods and into the field.

Kaitlyn- Creative SessionI have known Kaitlyn my whole life and she has always been a big sister figure for me. She is incredibly hard working and follows her heart with her head high. Her dog Pig and her horses Spice, and Laney were featured in our first photoshoot together. These were taken at her family farm, outside of Becker. Our second photoshoot together was just Kaitlyn and was done in the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge. Our focus was primarily for me to streamline my process and to work on perfecting my client experience. Support from people like her is a large part of how I got to where I am today. We sure got some amazing pictures out of these, from her linen dress, to the beautiful sky these are a dream. We talk of life, our goals, and where we want to head with our lives. Kaitlyn is encouraging and always has the best advice.

Maddie- Cap and Gown SessionMaddie is a 2025 high school graduate from the St. Michael area who I met as an infant. We have been honorary "cousins" all our life. As kids we were closer to twins, always the same height, size. We would spend endless hours creating dances in our Grandma's living room. Maddie plans to attend the University of Minnesota next year. Fun fact: our birthdays are only 10 days apart! Our session was done on a beach in Albertville a week before she walked the stage. We talked endlessly about life after and during high school, and her feelings at the end of this era.

Maggie- Branding ShootMiss Maggie is an AMAZING hairstylist. I know from lots of personal experience, from trims to full colors she shocks me every time, in the best way. She has radiant energy and just so happens to be local, based right out of Elk River. This photoshoot encapsulates her perfectly. Her gorgeous hair, and most importantly, her brand! These give professional in the best way. Our shots were taken in Elk River near her base salon immediately after my hair appointment. The juiciest conversations are always with your hair gal and this photoshoot was no exception. We saw happy dogs and owners out for hikes on trails, families enjoying picnics and kids playing on rocks.

Rayz Window Cleaning- Branding ShootThese guys... hilarious! The tres amigos, that's for sure. Joe, Brad, and Timothy are the hard working men behind Rayz Window Cleaning. After getting some new apparel they needed some professional photos, so of course, they called me. We worked with a beautiful birch tree setting and some action shots of windows being cleaned. What an amazing business, with a great backstory. This trio has been an inspiration to me in the business world. They consistently stay true to themselves while honoring their business promise.

The Paulson's- Wedding Preparation SessionI am not currently advertising to be a wedding photographer but when a great friend calls, I show up and do my best. Blake and Janelle have also been part of my life since the begging. We used to jump hay bails, ride horses, and swim together frequently. Well, now were all grown up, and they are married. What a story! This couple is a match made in heaven and I'm sure will prosper in their marriage. I had the honor of being Janelle's bridal attendant. I was included in pre-wedding celebrations, the bridal shower, the rehearsal dinner, getting ready day of, being in photos, getting her down the aisle, and the reception. Oh, also taking some photos! What a beautiful day to capture. Blake and Janelle were married at Snake River Farm which hold an important meaning to them. It was a warm day filled with smiles and happy tears. 90% of my words to the bride and groom this day were "you doing okay?" "drink this water" "eat this snack" "what can I get you" "feelin good?" and I was always met with a giddy smile. Janelle is a beautiful farmer, very relaxed- the go with the flow type, and so kind. Blake is a politician who preferers the details. Thank you, Blake and Janelle for providing me with experience in the wedding field. My favorite part of the day was watching the sadness meet determination of Janelle to walk down the isle and into her new life. My favorite photos from the day are the black and whites I took of Janelle, and her dad Jerry during their dance. Tears welled up while editing those.

Xeni and Jacob- Duos SessionXeni and Jacob met with me to celebrate their second year anniversary. I met Xeni at a previous job of mine, and her boyfriend Jacob too. We spoke of everyday life, mostly their relationship during the session. Our photoshoot took place at Snuffy's Landing in Becker. Incorporating water often creates unique photos. These two are adorable and I feel lucky to have been part of their celebrations.

Becker Athletics- Live Sporting Event CoverageI have shot countless Becker Athletics events, for years. Wrestling, football, and my favorite, baseball have been my primary focus. These boys are always fun to work with. Capturing their efforts, excitement, and struggle is what makes sports so unique. Parents are also such a fun piece of these shoots, also supportive and uplifting.

Izzy and Gus- Paw-parazzi SessionIzzy and Gus are best friends. I have dog-sat Gus several times over the year so to take his photos as a senior dog was heavy on my heart. Izzy has been an outstanding owner to Gus and loves him with her whole heart. Walking is becoming harder for Gus but there is much happiness in his heart. Much love to these two.
